Before they started dating, James Barry and Melanie Eam were both avid gamers. When Barry decided to end their relationship, his girlfriend became enraged and brutally murdered him.

James Barry Loxahatchee Murder – Details

On November 16, 2016, James Barry, a resident of Loxahatchee, Florida, was murdered. He was a conscientious student and a voracious gamer.

Barry met his girlfriend Melanie Eam through gaming because they were both avid gamers. Eam was described as a shy and soft-spoken girl, but things took a turn for the worse when Barry decided to end their relationship.

They later discovered that he had repeatedly attempted to end their relationship. Eam, on the other hand, did not want to leave Barry and was quite upset.

Eam’s mother raped her daughter sexually. Her mother, according to a psychologist, suffered from PTSD after her parents were killed in Cambodia.

In his memory, Barry’s family published an obituary. Everyone who knew him adored him.

Where Is Girlfriend Killer Melanie Eam Today?

On November 16, 2016, James Barry’s girlfriend, Melanie Eam, stabbed him multiple times. After Barry insisted on their breakup, Eam took matters into her own hands.

Melanie Eam was charged with second-degree murder for stabbing her boyfriend James Barry to death on January 10, 2019. She was sentenced to 50 years in prison, with her release date set for 2066.

At the time of his death, James Barry was only 21 years old.

Barry’s family asked for the maximum penalty for the murder. They were relieved after the sentence that their son’s murderer would spend the rest of her life in prison.
