    Sam Obiago, also known as Daddy Sam, a Nigerian actor, has died.

    The news of the veteran actor’s untimely death is trending on the internet, particularly on Twitter.

    Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), confirmed the news on Wednesday.

    Sam, an actor, producer, and filmmaker, as well as the chairman of the Screen Writers Guild of Nigeria (SWGN), will be missed in Nollywood.

    Many of his close friends and family vented their frustrations on social media.

    “He has been ill for a while now,” one of his coworkers wrote. So he became very ill yesterday and was rushed to the hospital at midnight. He gave up in the early hours of this morning.”

    According to the Nigeria Daily Post, Nollywood actor Sam Obiago has died.

    The news was first shared on Instagram by Emeka Rollas, President of the Actor Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

    Emeka expresses his condolences and prayers to the veteran actor, captioning Sam’s photo, “Another Sad Day.” Daddy Sam, rest in peace.”

    Obiago a.k.a. Daddy Sam is a Nigerian-born actor, filmmaker, and producer who has appeared in over 100 Nollywood films.

    Gifted, Tears Of A King, Woman Of Fire, Ghan Island, Royal Turning Point, Royal Appointment, Combined Forces, and many more are among his notable performances.

    At the time of his death, the veteran actor was 61 years old and was survived by his wife and two adult sons.

    Death Cause Revealed – Daddy Sam

    The cause of death for Sam Daddy is still unknown. However, the Nollywood actor died unexpectedly, leaving the entire Nollywood industry in mourning.

    As Christmas approaches and fans and celebrities prepare for the holiday season, the unexpected death has brought everyone’s festive spirit to a halt.

    Destiny Etiko, a famous Nollywood actress, took to Instagram and posted Sam’s photo to express her shock and disbelief at the news.

    Emeka Rollas, President of the Actor Guild of Nigeria (AGN), was the first to break the news to the public.

    Since the news broke, the internet has been flooded with people’s posts lamenting the veteran actor’s untimely death.

    Unfortunately, Wikipedia does not have any information on the veteran actor Sam Obiago, also known as Daddy Sam.

    Sam was 61 years old at the time of his death. The veteran actor has appeared in over 100 Nollywood films and is regarded as one of the industry’s top actors to this day.

    Pbiago worked as a banker before becoming an actor, having graduated from IMT Enugu with a degree in Mass Communications and an MBA from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA).

    Obiago’s wife and two sons, Dilim Boluwatife Obiago and Shalom C Obiago, survived him.
